I Ship It - Short Film

In the summer of 2014, director Yulin Kuang approached Kirstyn, explaining that she was creating a short film through New Form Digital that would revolve around a wizard rock battle of the bands. She went on to ask Kirstyn to write two songs to be fully produced for the film. Needless to say, she didn't need much convincing, so "Horcruxes" and "Honeydukes" were born.

"I Ship It" premiered on YouTube in October of 2014 and now has almost 200,000 views. It was also featured at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015.

I Ship It - Series

In 2015, Yulin Kuang, director of the "I Ship It" short film, approached Kirstyn once again; this time, the CW Network had decided to produce a webseries by the same name. Kirstyn wrote 7 nerd rock songs for the project, starring Helen Highfield and Riley Neldam. The series premiered on the CW Seed website in June of 2016.

The March Family Letters

Spring of 2014, Kirstyn was approached by the team of Cherrydale Productions, who invited her to write 5 songs from Beth March's perspective for their upcoming modern adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. The webseries, The March Family Letters, premiered on Pemberley Digital's YouTube channel the following winter and the first episode now has almost 100,000 views.

"It's Not You, It's Me"

Mary Kate Wiles approached Kirstyn in April of 2015, explaining that she wanted to create a Patreon goal that would involve producing and making a music video for an original song, and asked Kirstyn to be the songwriter. So "It's Not You, It's Me" was born! Check out this adorable music video and Mary Kate's awesome vocals.

Bigger Than Me

In December of 2015, Kirstyn was asked by her friend James Hull, jameschats on YouTube, to write an original song for the end credits of his upcoming documentary about fandom, Bigger Than Me. See her own music video and song featured at the end of the doc!

The 2016 Project

At the end of 2015, searching for songwriting motivation, Kirstyn decided on a new goal - to write one song per month in 2016. She will record these songs with Whisper Sands (Catherine and Andrew Streeter) in Utah in the winter and release an album in the Spring.
